The 2025 Literacy & Learning Educator Conference was held on April 26-27, 2025. Across two full days, the conference delivered a robust lineup of evidence-based content, including neuroscience insights, structured writing instruction, culturally responsive literacy initiatives, and practical classroom strategies. Both keynote and breakout sessions emphasized translating research into actionable routines, tools, and student-centered practice which equipped educators with diverse approaches that support reading and writing for all learners. Four Literacy Leaders were recognized and given an award to honour exceptional Ontario educators who are championing structured literacy in their schools and boards. The 2025 winners were: Lori McCaw, Angeline Humber, Janelle Rowlatt and Angela Stefanato.
